Lexington in Bloom

Lexington in Bloom (LIB) is an annual garden appreciation effort established by the LCGC. The goal of Lexington

in Bloom is to instill a spirit of community, increase civic pride, and improve the visual appeal through the use

of flowers, plants, and trees.

We recognize gardens city-wide, be they residences, businesses, children’s gardens, or neighborhood entryways.

From May through September, we ask all our garden clubs’ members to notify us of front yards, window boxes,

pollinator gardens, and other floral displays around Lexington, who we then recognize with “thank you”

post-cards for enhancing the beauty of our city.
